On the 9th day of Christmas, there’s still time to make more! Or you could do like I used to do: wrap the pattern and fabric for sewing up “later.”
One year (I was 15) I wrapped everyone’s gifts (5 at the time) the same as usual, pattern and fabric. They were opened with the usual, oh great, thanks, we’ll see these in June, remarks. When all were opened, I brought from another room, all 5 finished bathrobes. It was shock and awe! on their faces. That was a beautiful thing.
So here are some of my patterns in no particular order, all great projects for you or a loved one.
PDF files of all the patterns (download them from your home printer) are available at Craftsy.com/sewing patterns/Heidi Emmett
Hard copies (everything in a one package) email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
Or…find a cool sweater and add “FELTIES.” They are are little yarn circles attached to the sweater using a felting machine. The funny thing with this sweater is that it didn’t even have any holes in it that needed covering. I wanted a way to showcase some of my favorite yarns.
Or go buy a beautiful scarf as a gift. A true accessory piece that will never go out of style. Thank you Linda and Karenanne for my beautiful scarf for my birthday. It is the softest wool ever and made in Japan by Butapana.
Get your craft going this weekend! More ideas next week. Hugs, Heidi
